The Project
With the introduction of new customisation elements such as cologne caps, alphabet charms and stickers, in addition to the existing JML cologne and candle customisation suite, the challenge was to design a tool that allowed users to seamlessly build a multi faceted personalised gift.
The result is a layered yet intuitive UX flow which guides users through multi-step decision making with real-time visual feedback of their gift. It balances function, delight, and clarity; making complex choices feel clear and engaging to commit to the entire flow.
User testing feedback from 1:1 moderated remote interviews:
'Aesthetics, layout, and control gave a feeling of sophistication and simplicity.'
