At C21 I had designed the 2015/16 annual report for ForViva, and my task this year was to create a natural progression in the design. In the previous year I had used this diamond structure as a grid to hold the information. This year I decided to keep it but use it more loosely which would give me more freedom of movement in the spreads. I wanted the report to be accessible and break down the essential information so implemented a highlights bar alongside a image based spread for each section. The sections were divided using a subtle highlight colour palette to keep it from clashing in anyway with the ForViva brand and the images came mostly from events and in-house photography, directly appealing to those involved.
